The BuchiFlex
tube connection has proven its value in process piping and apparatus
for many years. The spherical sealing surfaces permit the
accommodation of angular deflection of several degrees. This allows
absolutely stress-free installations and the laying of pitched
piping without the use of special components. The BuchiFlex tube
connection is flexible, pressure tight, vacuum tight and simple to
install.
The PTFE sealing ring is firmly seated in the groove of the
BuchiFlex ball end. Centering and retaining of the seal during
assembly is therefore unnecessary.
The two-piece light alloy flange rings are effectively protected
against corrosion by epoxy powder coating. The insert ring is made
of PTFE. The knurled nuts simplify the installation and enable the
threads to be completely covered. Compression springs are installed
as standard to ensure that the BuchiFlex tube connection remains
tight while flexible at all times.
